Welcome:

Welcome to Veritas Expressions' Keeping Christ in Christmas web-site. Veritas Expressions LLC was formed to boldly express the truth of Christian Holidays.

Please visit our Keeping Christ in Christmas web store for gifts of encouragement or for personal expressions.  The product line is devoted to promoting Christ as the true reason for the Christmas holiday.

Mission:

Keeping Christ in Christmas was created to simply but boldly express the Christ in Christmas.

What did Jesus say was the reason for His birth?

During His "trial," Jesus spoke these words to Pilate: "For this reason I was born and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me." John 18:37

Celebrate Christmas by Observing Advent and/or Performing a Christmas Play at Home:

This year, create, and use an Advent Wreath for four weeks of family devotions.  Click here for what to do, read, & pray.  Then as you gather with your entire family for Christmas, perform an easy narrative Christmas play of the chronicle Biblical account of the Christmas story.  Click here for this excellent play.  (Note: This play is currently unavailable, we are in contact with the author to help make this accessible again.)

Unto us a Savior is Born - Luke 2:11:

Christmas celebrates the “good news” that God demonstrated His love for mankind by giving his only, one-of-a-kind Son, Jesus, to live with us as a man.  Although Jesus never did anything wrong, He willingly paid the penalty for our sins when He was crucified and buried.  Then, Jesus confirmed that He was God by conquering death as He resurrected from the grave.  Now, He is our advocate in Heaven at the right-hand side of God preparing for His future return.  Because of these actions, we can receive forgiveness from our sins, restore an intimacy with our Creator, discover our life purpose, live life on Earth more abundantly, and reserve an eternal home in Heaven.  These are the reasons why we celebrate CHRISTmas!  - Curtis W. Brown, Founder Veritas Expressions LLC.

Christmas Countdown

Did you know that the word "Holiday" that we use today shows up in Old English around 950 A.D. to denote a religious festival, a consecrated day called a “holy day.”  In Middle English it was also “hallow day” or “hallowed day” and it remains two words in Scotland as “haly day.”  It referred to a period of time where there was a cessation of work, a day of rest, a Sabbath, and therefore a holy day – a day set apart from the others.  That’s right.  The origin of Happy Holidays is the wish for someone to have “happy holy days!” meaning is Holy Day. - Charlie Brents
